Natural Areas Conservation Plan project

March 2015 - The Heritage Foundation has donated $25,000 to Kawartha Land Trust (KLT) to support completion of a Natural Areas Conservation Plan relative to the north shore of Stony Lake and adjacent areas.    The work involved includes environmental mapping and landowner outreach.   This work builds upon KLT's Kawarthas, Naturally Connected project.   More information on these initiatives can be found at the KLT website (see Partner Links).
