The Heritage Foundation is once again partnering with Stoney Lake Sprint to raise funds for the development of local nature trails. This year the Sprint is inviting everyone interested to participate in their Stoney Lake Ekiden (click here to read more about this type of relay race).
This is the first-ever Stoney Lake Ekiden & Virtual 5K, a virtual relay done anywhere, anytime, or on any course, during the week of July 19-26. Read more about our Ekiden here.
Up to $3,000 in donations made by participants in the Ekiden will be matched by the Heritage Foundation and the combined total of up to $6,000 will assist with the development of a new walking trail to connect Lakefield and Burleigh Falls.
